Policies Governing the CE Credit Courses / Workshops at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine – MIU
The Continuing Education Office at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine welcomes candidates who wish to take a course for personal enrichment, for teaching credential certification, for exploring degree programs, or for meeting other educational goals.
Workshop / Credit Courses
The Office of Continuing Education offers credit courses/ workshops at various times throughout the year to the public, general practitioners, dental assistants, nurses, faculty alumni, faculty & staff. The public will pay the stated rate for course / workshop fees. Faculty alumni, faculty & staff will pay a discounted rate.
Method of Registration
Candidates apply in person at the following locations: MIU Faulty of Oral and Dental Medicine Campus– Office of Continuing Education, Room SA3; along with a completed registration form (Attached).
Drop / Withdrawal / Refunds
Candidates who intend to drop/withdraw from a credit course must notify the Office of Continuing Education on the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine Campus in writing or e-mail; a verbal notice is not sufficient.
Upon completion of each course, participants will receive a verification of attendance, indicating the credit hours awarded.
Participants will receive a verification of attendance indicating the credit hours awarded only if the participant attends not less than 60% of the course.
