Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Program Duration
- The program duration is at least 2 regular semesters (one academic year) from the date of
enrollment. - The maximum period for obtaining the Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences is
4 regular semesters (two academic years). - In exceptional cases, and after the recommendation of the Faculty Council and approval by
the University Council for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the maximum period may be
extended for one additional year only.
Professional Diploma in Infection Control in Hospitals
Admission Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from one of the faculties of pharmacy
at Egyptian universities, or an equivalent degree recognized by the Supreme Council of
Universities. The student may be required to take supplementary courses as determined by
the relevant scientific department. - Holders of a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, a Bachelor of Oral and Dental Medicine, or a
Bachelor of Nursing from Egyptian universities, or equivalent degrees recognized by the
Supreme Council of Universities, may apply for admission to the Professional Diploma in
Hospital Infection Control. - Applicants must successfully pass the exams set by the University Council in the English
language or other exams required for admission to the Faculty of Pharmacy. The Faculty
Council may exempt the student from the English language exam if they have passed the
English language exam (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 450 or its equivalent (IELTS) with a
minimum score of six. - After the approval of the Faculty Council, the relevant scientific department council may
decide to hold a specialized admission examination and determine the number of students
to be admitted to postgraduate studies each year in accordance with the available
resources. - Applicants are required to pay the tuition fees at the beginning of each semester.

Diploma in Bioinformatics
