Smart Tech Creators Camp

Course Overview
This intensive 7-day summer camp, led by the MIU team, provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to hardware and embedded systems. Starting from the fundamentals, attendees will learn Arduino programming, circuit design using breadboards, and the integration of a wide range of sensors and modules. The program covers everything from simple LED control to advanced applications such as RFID-based access systems and environmental monitoring with flame and rain sensors. In the final phase of the camp, teams are given dedicated time to brainstorm, develop, and refine their projects before presenting their completed solutions in a concluding exhibition.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand Arduino fundamentals and basic breadboarding techniques.
- Wire and program outputs including LEDs, Servos, and I2C LCD displays.
- Integrate and calibrate analog and digital inputs, including potentiometers and ultrasonic sensors.
- Implement security and access control logic using Keypads and RFID modules.
- Design safety systems using flame and rain sensors.
- Collaborate effectively in teams to design, troubleshoot, and present a complete smart system project.
