Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking

Course Overview:
This 60-hour intensive course prepares students for real-world network penetration testing and the globally recognized OSCP certification. The program covers the full offensive security lifecycle—from information gathering and vulnerability analysis to exploitation, privilege escalation, lateral movement, and professional reporting. Students will work hands-on in live lab environments to build practical skills required to pass the OSCP exam and excel in cybersecurity careers.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Perform structured network penetration tests following industry-standard methodologies (PTES, OSCP)
- Conduct active and passive reconnaissance and service enumeration using tools like Nmap, Masscan, and NSE scripts
- Exploit vulnerabilities manually and with Metasploit; escalate privileges on both Windows and Linux systems
- Perform lateral movement and Active Directory attacks including Kerberoasting, Pass-the-Ticket, and DCSync
- Set up pivoting and tunneling through compromised hosts to reach isolated network segments
- Write professional penetration testing reports with clear findings, evidence, and remediation steps
Prerequisites:
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting)
- Familiarity with Linux command line (file system, bash, permissions)
- Basic Windows OS knowledge (services, registry, user accounts)
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python or Bash) is beneficial but not mandatory
Target Certification:
- Participants receive a Certificate of Completion from MIU.
- Participants get prepared for the OSCP — Offensive Security Certified Professional (OffSec / PEN-200) certification.
Discount on International Exam:
- CompTIA PenTest+ (PT0-003): $450 → $320 (Save $130 — 29% off)
- eCPPT (eLearnSecurity): $600 → ~$289 (15,000 EGP at current rate ~51.96 EGP/$ — Save ~$311, 52% off)
Who Should Attend:
- University students and recent graduates in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering
- IT professionals moving into cybersecurity or penetration testing roles
- SOC analysts, system administrators, and network engineers seeking red team skills
- Anyone preparing for OSCP, CompTIA PenTest+, or eCPPT certifications
