Defensive Security (Network Security + FortiGate Administrator)


Course Overview:
This course combines two leading network security programs: Network Security from Cisco and FortiGate Administrator from Fortinet. It covers core security concepts and the practical skills needed to configure, troubleshoot, and secure modern computer networks.
The first part focuses on Cisco network security principles, including threat mitigation and industry best practices. The second part provides hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls, covering security profiles, VPNs, and high-availability configurations.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to effectively protect and manage networks using both Cisco and Fortinet technologies.

- Master network security principles and device/data protection.

- Basic understanding of computer networks (CCNA ITN and SRWE level recommended).
