This course covers two security aspects:
1. Network Security Course.
2. CyberOps Associate (200-201 CBROPS ) Course
1- Network Security Course

Course Overview:
This course introduces the core security concepts and skills needed to configure and troubleshoot computer networks and help ensure the integrity of devices and data.
Learning Outcomes:
- Build expertise in network security and data protection
- Develop skills for entry-level network security specialist roles
- Gain industry in-demand skills aligned with the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework
Prerequisites
It is recommended that students have the following skills and knowledge:
- PC and internet navigation skills
- Familiarity with Cisco Packet Tracer
- Basic understanding of computer networks (CCNA ITN and SRWE level)
Target Certification:
The participant who will pass the course exam will obtains Certificate from MIU. In addition, Certificate of Completion, Letter of Merit, Digital Badge from Cisco Networking Academy.
Who Should Attend
- The Network Security course is aimed at Cisco Networking Academy students, IT professionals, and higher education students seeking entry-level network security skills, focusing on threat mitigation measures.
- Senior students of Computer Science (CS) and Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) can also attend to enhance their skills for working in a Security Operations Center (SOC).

This course introduces the core security concepts and skills needed to monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cybercrime, cyberespionage, insider threats, advanced persistent threats, regulatory requirements, and other cybersecurity issues facing organizations.
Learning Outcomes:
- Develop skills for entry-level security operations center (SOC) jobs.
- Prepare for CyberOps Associate certification (200-201 CBROPS ) exam.
- Pursuing a career in cybersecurity operations, a rapidly growing, exciting new area that spans all industries.
Prerequisites
CyberOps Associate students should have the following skills and knowledge:
- PC and internet navigation skills
- Basic Windows and Linux system concepts
- Basic understanding of computer networks
- Binary and Hexadecimal understanding
- Familiarity with Cisco Packet Tracer
Target Certification:
Participants who pass the course exam will obtain a certificate from MIU. In addition, this course aligns with the Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate (CBROPS) certification. Candidates need to pass the 200-201 CBROPS exam to achieve the Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate certification. Participants who pass the course exam will enjoy a 60% discount voucher for 200-201 CBROPS exam.
