This industry-driven course provides in-depth training on RF planning, optimization, and transmission technologies used in 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks. With the rapid evolution of mobile networks and the global rollout of 5G, telecom operators and equipment vendors demand skilled professionals who can design, optimize, and troubleshoot wireless networks efficiently.

Through hands-on training using industry-standard tools like Atoll (RF planning), TEMS (drive testing), and Excel (data analysis), students will gain real-world expertise in network deployment, performance tuning, and transmission design—making them job-ready for telecom careers.
Learning Outcomes:
- Master Mobile Network Fundamentals – Understand 2G/3G/4G architectures, protocols, and 5G evolution.
- Perform RF Planning & Design – Use Atoll for base station (BTS, eNB) deployment and coverage optimization
- Conduct Drive Testing & Troubleshooting – Analyze KPIs using TEMS, identify field issues, and apply optimization techniques.
- Design Transmission Networks – Learn transport protocols, technologies, and market products for backhaul connectivity.
- Analyze Network Performance – Visualize and interpret data using Excel for decision-making.
- Prepare for Telecom Careers – Gain insights into industry job roles, CV building, and career paths.
Target Certification:
- The participant who will pass the course exam will obtain a certificate from MIU.

This course is divided into 3 main parts as follows
- RF Planning Part (4 Sessions)
- Learn 2G, 3G, 4G fundamentals, Architecture, operating procedures and evolution to 5G.
- Learn the design of the base station (BTS, NB, eNB) and equipment.
- Learn basics of RF Network Planning using Atoll planning tool used in mobile operators
- Learn the Radio Access Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and work on a test case
- Learn how to visualize and analyze data using Excel.
- Get the Career Path Knowledge in Mobile Communication and how to prepare CV.
- 5G introduction.
- RF Optimization Part (4 Sessions)
- Drive test required tools
- Drive test measured radio KPIs and activities using TEMS program.
- Drive test field problems and trouble shooting
