Course Overview
This is a clinical course that comprises a multidisciplinary treatment of one clinical case. The clinical sessions span of 6 months and will be accompanied by seminars and demonstrations to support rehabilitation concepts. At the end of the 6- month period the interns present their cases audio-visually to a panel of judges for discussion and evaluation.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to :
- Gather all proper diagnostic material for the cases and develop an overview of the clinical situations.
- Process the diagnostic information to create a comprehensive treatment plan including different options.
- Carry out different treatment modalities and refer to related literature when needed to proceed.
- Effectively use mentoring provided by the supervising instructors to deliver their best clinical care.
- Extensively document treatment, both in writing and imaging (radiography and photography).
- Present their cases in detailed steps and thorough explanation.
