This is a clinical course that comprises a multidisciplinary treatment of one clinical case. The clinical sessions span of 6 months and will be accompanied by seminars and demonstrations to support rehabilitation concepts. At the end of the 6- month period the interns present their cases audio-visually to a panel of judges for discussion and evaluation.
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to :
Gather all proper diagnostic material for the cases and develop an overview of the clinical situations.
Process the diagnostic information to create a comprehensive treatment plan including different options.
Carry out different treatment modalities and refer to related literature when needed to proceed.
Effectively use mentoring provided by the supervising instructors to deliver their best clinical care.
Extensively document treatment, both in writing and imaging (radiography and photography).
Present their cases in detailed steps and thorough explanation.
