Visit of the Residents of the Light and Hope Association for the Visually Impaired to the university’s dental clinics complex

The Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine organized a visit for the residents of the Light and Hope Association for the Visually Impaired to the MIU dental clinics complex on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, to conduct oral and dental examinations and provide dental treatments.

The university arranged transportation for the residents, bringing them along with their accompanying supervisors from the association’s main location in the morning, accompanied by a member of the Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee. After the visit, they were transported back.

Fifteen Dental interns conducted oral examination for 12 residents and three accompanying supervisors in the diagnostic clinic, followed by providing the required dental treatment at the dental clinics complex (DCC). This was done under the supervision of the Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee coordinator, the assistant Director of the Dental Clinics Complex, three members of the internship administration, and staff members from various scientific specialties.

At the end of the visit, questionnaires were distributed to the supervisors from the association and the accompanying staff to evaluate the visit and assess the patients’ satisfaction with the provided services.

The satisfaction rate with the dental treatment services provided reached 100%.

نظمت إدارة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة بكلية طب الفم والأسنان زيارة نزيلات جمعية النور والامل للكفيفات الى مجمع العيادات بالجامعة يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 26 من اغسطس 2025 لإجراء الكشف على الفم والأسنان وتلقي العلاج المطلوب.

قامت الجامعة بتوفير وسيلة إنتقال للنزيلات حيث تم إستقدامهن مع المشرفات المرافقات من مقر الدار صباحًا بصحبة أحد أفراد إدارة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة وتم إعادتهن بعد الزيارة.

حيث قام خمسة عشر من طبيبات وأطباء الامتياز بالكشف على 12 نزيلة وثلاثة من المرافقات وتقديم الخدمة العلاجية المطلوبة داخل مجمع العيادات بالجامعة وذلك تحت إشراف مقرر شئون خدمة المجتمع و تنمية البيئة و نائب مديرمجمع العيادات و ثلاثة من أعضاء فريق العمل بإدارة خدمة المجتمع و تنمية البيئة وادارة تدريب امتياز وأعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعاونيهم من التخصصات العلمية المختلفة في حضور افراد من لجنة خدمة المجتمع و تنمية البيئة.

في نهاية الزيارة تم توزيع استبيانات على المشرفات من الجمعية والمرافقات للنزيلات لتقييم الزيارة ومدى رضا المرضى على الخدمة المقدمة.

و قد بلغت نسبة الرضا عن الخدمة العلاجية المقدمة 100%.
