International Day

The annual International Day is one of the most awaited events at MIU. Students seize this opportunity in order to show off their creativity in representing the countries. The day is always filled with an array of colors and aromas of many different nations.

Charity

MIU students never miss an opportunity to work for their community. Every year, a large number of orphans are invited to spend a day on MIU campus. They are entertained by the puppet show and many games organized by MIU students.
Students also visit orphanages and hospitals.

In Ramadan, food supplies are collected and donated to the needy that live in slum areas.
In addition, students stand in lines eager to participate in the yearly Blood Donation Campaign.

Sports

The annual Sports Day has become a much awaited-event. Many teams compete in the University Tournament. Other ‘fun’ sports activities take place as well: darts, balloon shaving, and tug-of-war games.

The Ramadan Tournament is another popular event in which students compete in soccer and basketball games. The valuable prizes make the competition fiercer and worthwhile. Many MIU students achieve high ranks in the National Universities Championships in sports such as judo, tennis, and squash.

The Annual Employment Fair

MIU assists the alumni and graduating seniors in their professional lives through the Annual Employment Fair which is usually attended by a large number of reputable national and multinational companies.

Each year, a number of companies and institutions are invited to the University to recruit MIU graduates. This fair has proven to be a successful means of introducing the graduates into the real work life.

It allows them to get into face-to-face contact with their potential employers and to get first-hand information on what is needed to get into the job market.
