“NAM” Nasoalveolar Molding Workshop – Part 2: Wiring and Application

A follow-up workshop titled “NAM” Nasoalveolar Molding – Part 2: Wiring and Application was held on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Farghaly (Orthodontist and a member of the Operation Smile Egypt team).

The workshop is a continuation of the “NAM” Nasoalveolar Molding workshop held on June 3rd and 4th, 2025, based on the cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Dentistry and Operation Smile Egypt.  Two faculty members from the Departments of Pediatric Dentistry & Public Health and Orthodontics, as well as the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, were invited to this workshop.

The workshop focused on teaching the wiring techniques used with the NAM device, in addition to hands-on application on dummy heads.

A satisfaction survey was conducted, and the satisfaction rate was 100%.

ورشة عمل بعنوان “NAM” Naso alveolar molding. Part 2: Wiring and application

استكمالاً لورشة عمل “NAM” Naso alveolar molding التي عقدت خلال يومي 03 و04 يونيو 2025 طبقاً لاتفاقية التعاون المشترك بين كلية طب الفم والاسنان مع مؤسسة عمليه الابتسامة – مصر والتي تم فيها دعوة اثنين من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بقسمي طب أسنان الأطفال والصحة العامة والتقويم، وقسم جراحة الوجه والفم والفكين. تم عقد ورشة عمل بعنوان “NAM” Naso alveolar molding. Part 2: Wiring and application يوم الأربعاء الموافق 02 يوليو 2025بإشراف د/احمد فرغلي (طبيب التقويم واحد اعضاء فريق عمليه الابتسامة – بمصر). وقد تناولت ورشة العمل معرفة طرق ال wiring المستخدم مع جهاز ال NAM بالإضافة الي تطبيقه علي رؤوس صناعية (Dummy Heads). وتم عمل استبيان لقياس الرضا و كانت نسبة الرضا 100%.
