MIU Sponsors “i:Teach Humachine in English Language Teaching” Conference in collaboration with CDELT

Out of the Faculty of Al-Alsun and Mass Communication belief in the important role of research in the digital age, Al-Alsun Department sponsored the CDELT 36th International Conference entitled “i:Teach Humachine in English Language Teaching”. The conference was held on the 2nd and 3rd of November 2019, at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University.

Three Faculty members gave three presentations in different disciplines at the conference.

Prof. Laila Galal Rizk, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun and Mass Communication, gave a presentation entitled “Digital Storytelling: A Powerful Technology Tool for the Literature Classroom”. Dr. Ingy Emara gave a presentation titled “Phonetic and Prosodic Factors Affecting Automatic Speech Recognition of Non-native English Speech” and Dr. Shereen Ali’s presentation was entitled “Choice-Based Hypertext Experience in the Interactive World of Deemer, Rudman and Smart”.

Al Alsun Students Visit the Arts Complex!

Al Alsun students went on a field trip to the Arts Complex in Zamalek on November 19.
The trip was part of the ENG 404 “Literature and the Visual Arts” course, which explores how literature and the visual arts inform one another and challenge the reading/viewing experience.
The group was accompanied by the course instructors, Dr. Laila Galal and Dr. Mona Helmy.

Quality Assurance Office held a seminar under the name of “The Impact of Labor Market Requirements on the Educational Programs Offered by Misr International University”. It is a part of the University strategic plan 2015/2020 preparations that require a poll of experts in various fields to join and attend this seminar.

  3. Participation of various parties in the review of the vision, mission and strategic objectives.
