Ms. Eman Nedal, MIU English Instructor, Faculties of CSC, DNT, ENG and MA candidate in Linguistics at the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts, Capital University – formerly Helwan University – participated in the 5th Conference on the Interconnection Between Environmental Humanities and Health Humanities: New Prospects in Literature, Linguistics, Culture & Translation, held on April 15–16, 2026.
Organized by the Department of English Language and Literature, the two-day conference brought together scholars to explore emerging interdisciplinary approaches linking environmental and health concerns across literature, linguistics, culture, and translation studies.
Ms. Eman Nedal presented a research paper drawn from her MA thesis, titled _“Connecting Environmental and Health Humanities in Digital Discourse.”
Her work examines how digital platforms shape public narratives around environmental and health issues, contributing directly to the conference’s central theme.
