Faculty of Business Administration Supports Papyrus Makers in Qaramous Village, Sharqia Governorate

On July 15, 2026, as part of the “From Green Papyrus to Timeless Art” initiative launched by The World Art Forum for Development Foundation, Dr. Maha Fikry, Assistant Professor in the Marketing Department, Faculty of Business Administration, conducted a workshop titled “Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and the Future of the Papyrus Market in Qaramous”.

Held in Qaramous Village, a region in the Sharqia Governorate famous for its traditional papyrus production, the event brought together local farmers and artisans to equip them with essential business skills, open new market opportunities, and support the sustainable future of their historic craft.  

كلية ادارة الأعمال تدعم صناع الورق البردي بقرية قراموص بمحافظة الشرقية

في 15 يوليو 2026 وضمن مبادرة «من البردي الأخضر إلى الفن الخالد» التي أطلقتها مؤسسة المنتدى الدولي للفن التشكيلي من أجل التنمية قدمت الدكتورة مها فكري المدرس بقسم التسويق بكلية إدارة الأعمال ورشة عمل بعنوان «التسويق وريادة الأعمال ومستقبل سوق البردي في القراموص». وأُقيمت الورشة في قرية القراموص بمحافظة الشرقية الشهيرة بإنتاجها للبردي وحضر الورشة عدد من المزارعين والحرفيين المحليين وكانت تهدف لتزويدهم بالمهارات التجارية الأساسية وفتح فرص جديدة في السوق ودعم المستقبل المستدام لحرفتهم.
