Al-Alsun and Mass Communication Faculty Celebrates Mother’s Day and Orphans’ Day with a Three-Day Charity Exhibition
15 Mar 2026Celebrating Mother’s Day and Orphans’ Day, the Faculty of Al-Alsun and Mass Communication hosted a three-day Charity Exhibition from March 9th to March 11th. This initiative invited students, faculty, and staff to engage in social responsibility and support the missions of several impactful national organizations.
The exhibition featured representatives from Ahl Masr Hospital, Baheya Hospital, and the Jannat Al-Kholoud Association. The primary goal of the event was to provide a platform for breast cancer survivors, burn survivors, and orphans to sell their handcrafted products and generate support for their journeys. This initiative connected academic life with humanitarian action, encouraging the MIU community to participate in civic engagement.
The event supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
كلية الألسن والإعلام تحتفل بعيد الأم ويوم اليتيم من خلال معرض خيري لمدة ثلاثة أيام
احتفالاً بعيد الأم ويوم اليتيم قامت كلية الألسن والإعلام بتنظيم معرض “أيام الخير” لمدة ثلاثة أيام في الفترة من 9 مارس إلى 11 مارس. ودعت هذه المبادرة الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والموظفين للمشاركة في المسؤولية الاجتماعية ودعم مهام عدد من المؤسسات الوطنية المؤثرة.
وقد ضم المعرض ممثلين عن مستشفى “أهل مصر” ومستشفى “بهية” وجمعية “جنة الخلود”. الهدف الرئيسي من الفعالية كان توفير منصة لمحاربات سرطان الثدي والناجين من الحروق والأيتام لبيع منتجاتهم المشغولة يدويًا ودعم مسيرتهم. وتأتي هذه المبادرة لربط الحياة الأكاديمية بالعمل الإنساني وتشجيع طلاب الكلية على المشاركة الفعالة.
يدعم هذا المعرض أهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة بما في ذلك الهدف الثالث: الصحة الجيدة والرفاه والهدف العاشر: الحد من أوجه عدم المساواة والهدف السابع عشر: عقد الشراكات لتحقيق الأهداف.
