A visit to El-Nour and El-Amal Association

The Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine conducted a field visit to El-Noor w El-Amal Association in Heliopolis on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The association provides care and support for blind girls and women aged 16 to 53 years.

The visit was attended by the Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Affairs; the Coordinator and members of the Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee; two supervisors from the Internship Training Administration; one staff member from the Pediatric Dentistry Department; and fifteen male and female interns.

The primary objective of the visit was to raise awareness of oral and dental health among the association’s residents and caregivers. Educational sessions were delivered by the interns, highlighting the importance of proper oral hygiene, demonstrating correct toothbrushing techniques, and inviting participants to receive dental treatment at the university’s Dental Clinic Complex.

As part of the initiative, 170 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste were distributed to the residents during the awareness sessions.

In addition, surveys were carried out by the association’s staff to identify oral health needs, assess the effectiveness of the program, and evaluate overall satisfaction. The results indicated a 100% satisfaction rate. A separate evaluation survey completed by the interns also reflected a 100% satisfaction rate.

<فعاليات الزيارة الميدانية الي جمعية النور والأمل

قامت لجنة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة بكلية طب الفم والأسنان بتنفيذ زيارة ميدانية إلى جمعية النور والأمل بمصر الجديدة يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 16 ديسمبر 2025. وتُعنى الجمعية بتقديم الرعاية والدعم للفتيات والسيدات من ذوي الإعاقة البصرية، وتتراوح أعمارهن بين 16 و53 عامًا.

وشهدت الزيارة مشاركة كلٍّ من وكيل الكلية لشؤون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، منسق وأعضاء لجنة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، ومشرفين من إدارة تدريب الامتياز، وعضو هيئة تدريس من قسم طب أسنان الأطفال، بالإضافة إلى خمسة عشر طبيب امتياز.

وهدفت الزيارة بشكل أساسي إلى نشر الوعي الصحي المتعلق بصحة الفم والأسنان بين نزيلات الجمعية ومقدمي الرعاية. وقد قام أطباء الامتياز بتقديم جلسات توعوية ركزت على أهمية الحفاظ على صحة الفم والأسنان، مع شرح عملي للطريقة الصحيحة لتنظيف الأسنان و دعوتهم للعلاج داخل مجمع العيادات بالجامعة.

وفي إطار هذه المبادرة، تم توزيع 170 فرشاة أسنان ومعجون أسنان على نزيلات الجمعية خلال الجلسات التوعوية.

كما تم توزيع استبيانات على العاملين بالجمعية للتعرف على احتياجاتهم المتعلقة بصحة الفم والأسنان، وتقييم البرنامج المُقدم، وقياس مدى رضاهم عن الزيارة، حيث أظهرت النتائج نسبة رضا بلغت 100%. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تم توزيع استبيان آخر على أطباء الامتياز لتقييم الزيارة، وقد حقق بدوره نسبة رضا وصلت إلى 100%..

وقد أوضح الاستبيان رغبة الفئة المستهدفة في تكرار الزيارة واضافة تقديم خدمة الكشف على الفم والأسنان تمهيداً للحصول على الخدمة العلاجية داخل مجمع عيادات الكلية.
