Workshop on “Regulatory Affairs Basics” for Year 6 Pharmacy Students

On Monday, September 22, and Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Misr International University (MIU) organized a two-day workshop entitled “Regulatory Affairs Basics.”

The workshop was conducted by esteemed experts in the field:
🔹 Dr. Areej Galal – Regulatory Affairs Supervisor, NFSA
🔹 Dr. Abdelrahman Abdellatif – Scientific Office Manager, MRG
🔹 Dr. Omar Nasr – Regulatory Affairs Supervisor, MRG

This training was specially designed for Year 6 pharmacy students as a preparatory step for their upcoming Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) tour round.

A total of 27 students successfully completed the workshop and received certificates of participation in recognition of their active engagement and commitment throughout the two days.

ورشة عمل بعنوان “أساسيات الشؤون التنظيمية” لطلاب السنة السادسة بكلية الصيدلة

في يومي الاثنين 22 سبتمبر والثلاثاء 23 سبتمبر 2025، نظمت كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية ورشة عمل بعنوان “أساسيات الشؤون التنظيمية (Regulatory Affairs Basics)”.
قدّم الورشة نخبة من الخبراء المتخصصين في المجال:
🔹 د. أريج جلال – مشرف الشؤون التنظيمية بهيئة سلامة الغذاء (NFSA)
🔹 د. عبدالرحمن عبداللطيف – مدير المكتب العلمي بشركة MRG
🔹 د. عمر نصر – مشرف الشؤون التنظيمية بشركة MRG
جاءت هذه الورشة لتأهيل طلاب السنة السادسة قبل زيارتهم الميدانية المرتقبة إلى هيئة الدواء المصرية (EDA)، حيث تعرّف الطلاب على أساسيات العمل التنظيمي ومتطلبات تسجيل المنتجات الدوائية.
وقد أنهى 27 طالبًا الورشة بنجاح، وحصلوا على شهادات مشاركة تقديرًا لالتزامهم وتفاعلهم المتميز خلال اليومين.
