Dental Implants Workshop: Enhancing Practical Skills for Dental Interns

The Internship Administration, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, in collaboration with the Oral Implantology Faculty members and sponsored by Valley Trade Company, hosted a comprehensive Implant Workshop. The event was designed to provide 60 interns with essential hands-on experience in implant placement techniques. The event took place on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025.

The workshop began with an informative lecture, where oral implantology faculty members shared the latest developments in implant placement, focusing on critical aspects such as patient evaluation, surgical protocols, and post-operative care. This theoretical foundation set the stage for the practical components of the workshop.

Following the lecture, a live demonstration of the implant placement procedure on simulated models was conducted, allowing interns to observe the techniques in real-time. This demonstration offered valuable insights into the procedural nuances and clinical applications of implantology.

The workshop’s key component was the hands-on session, where each intern had the opportunity to practice implant placement on simulated models under the supervision of skilled faculty members. This interactive session enabled interns to refine their technical skills and gain confidence in performing implant procedures, thus enhancing their clinical competence.

Feedback from both interns was highly positive, with a 100% satisfaction rate. Participants expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to engage in such a practical and academically enriching experience. في يوم الثلاثاء 25 فبراير 2025، استضافت إدارة تدريب اطباء الامتياز بكلية طب الفم والأسنان، بالتعاون مع أعضاء هيئة التدريس في تخصص زراعة الأسنان وبرعاية شركة فالي تريد، ورشة عمل شاملة حول زراعة الأسنان. صُمم الحدث لتزويد اطباء الامتيازبتجربة عملية أساسية في تقنيات زرع الأسنان، بحضور 60 من طبيبات واطباء الامتياز.

بدأت الورشة بمحاضرة ، حيث قدم أعضاء هيئة التدريس في تخصص زراعة الأسنان أحدث التطورات في تقنيات زرع الأسنان، مع التركيز على الجوانب الحيوية مثل تقييم المرضى، البروتوكولات الجراحية، والعناية بعد العمليات. شكلت هذه الأسس النظرية أرضية صلبة للأجزاء العملية في الورشة.

بعد المحاضرة، تم إجراء عرض معملى مباشر لإجراء عملية زراعة الأسنان على نماذج المحاكاة، مما أتاح لاطباء الامتياز مراقبة التقنيات بشكل مباشر. قدم هذا العرض رؤى قيمة حول تفاصيل الإجراءات وتطبيقاتها في مجال زراعة الأسنان.
