25 Nov 2014The course is designed for pharmacists to prepare for the Pharmacotherapy Specialty Certification Examination administered by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties, USA. It provides a detailed review of the topics required by the board of pharmacy specialties. Topics are reviewed in case based format, with both basic level knowledge in pharmacology and therapeutics and updates on recent guideline recommendations.
The course will be taught by MIU faculty and certified BCPS practitioners with clinical experience.
Clinical practice at major Egyptian hospital will be available to course participants (optional).

What is the duration of the course? 8 months + (Revision) 1 month leading to the exam. 1 session/ week will be held on Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm.
