The South Carolina College of Pharmacy (SCCP) was formed in 2004 through the integration of the Colleges of Pharmacy at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, and the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, USA, to advance pharmacy education, research, and service.
Forms of Collaboration
Graduating MIU pharmacy students who successfully complete courses taught by SCCP professors receive a certificate signed by the Executive Dean of SCCP. The certificate attests that the graduating student has passed courses taught and evaluated by professors from SCCP, as part of MIU bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Faculty Exchange Program (IOP04)
Twenty visits have been paid so far. Dr. Joseph Dipiro, Dr. Sondra Berger, and Dr. Don Wiest were among the visiting professors from SCCP.
