Program offered to all MIU students except for the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine students. Students who join this program are offered special scholarships and are also entitled to receive Alumni scholarships if they return to get a postgraduate degree.
Applicable to the faculty of Computer Science only (CS), The Faculty of Computer Science, MIU, is under the continuous academic advice of the School of Computer Science and Information Technology of the University of Nottingham. Accordingly, the following will be stated on all MIU CS students’ transcripts: “The degree of BSc in the Faculty of Computer Science is offered with the continuing academic advice of the School of Computer Science and Information Technology of the University of Nottingham England” CS graduation projects are jointly supervised by MIU and the University of Nottingham; as such, MIU students receive certificates, signed by University of Nottingham projects' advisors, indicating that they have completed their Graduation Projects under the guidance and advice of the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, the University of Nottingham.
Participating faculties: Computer Science, Business Administration & International Trade, and Engineering (Architecture Department). Sixteen visits took place so far. Dr. Graham Kendall, Dr. Colin A Higgins, Dr. Mohamed Gadi, Dr. Christine Ennew, and Ms. Sue Beesley were among the visiting professors from the University of Nottingham.
Several training sessions were held for MIU Computer Science staff. A number of Computer Science and Engineering Staff are currently enrolled in the Ph.D. Program in the University of Nottingham.
