Strategic Objectives
I. Education:
The Faculty of Pharmacy aims to:
1. Provide a high quality educational program, guided by the standards and ethics of the various professional organizations and accrediting agencies.
2. Incorporate a service-oriented curriculum that is based on current and future trends of the profession that meets industry and public health standards.
3. Advance the profession by ensuring student gain of adequate experience in providing patient care and medication therapy management services.
4. Integrate new teaching and assessment methodologies to ensure excellence and continuous monitoring and development of the educational process.
5. Implement international experiences and programs into the curriculum.
6. Ensure the harmonious work of faculty, staff and students to achieve the faculty’s mission.
7. Provide a pharmacy graduate who can serve in community and hospital pharmacy units, pharmaceutical industry, general pharmaceutical management, universities and research institutions.
II. Research:
1. Promote critical thinking, discovery and dissemination of new knowledge and encourage faculty members to actively engage in pharmaceutical and health-related scientific research.
2. Develop training programs to enable students to design research proposals, conduct research, analyze data, submit abstracts and manuscripts, and actively participate in professional scientific meetings.
3. Contribute to the advancement of the pharmaceutical and clinical sciences through independent and collaborative research.
III. Community Service:
The Faculty of Pharmacy aims to serve the Egyptian community as it strives to:
1. Develop continuing education programs for graduates and professionals to promote active life-long learning opportunities.
2. Collaborate with community institutions and organizations to provide highest quality pharmaceutical care services.
3. Foster students' communication skills, encouraging their involvement in the society and developing their spirit of leadership
