British Certificate

8 IGCSE/GCSE subjects OR 7 O levels + One AS or One AL

A inimum grade of “C” at the Ordinary level & the minimum grade of “E” at the Advanced Supplementary or Advanced level.

Considers the highest grade in subjects completed more than once. o The number of sittings accepted is Five sittings within two calendar years.

General Sciences, Religion, Physical Education, Military Sciences & Classical Arabic are not accepted subjects.

English Language & English Literature are considered two different subjects.

Applicants must provide Idadia certificate in addition to proof of three years of schooling after / or comparable proof of 11 years of schooling, including 3 years of study following Idadia or equivalent.

All IGCSE/GCSE slips from schools located in Egypt are to be stamped from:

The British Council o Ministry of foreign affairs, Egypt. o Students holding IGCSE/GCSE from schools outside Egypt and who score grades C (in O Level subjects) should provide proof that such courses taken are extended not core.

They should stamp their slips from the British Council at the relevant country, then Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the same country, & finally Egyptian Embassy at this country.

Or

British Council in the relevant country.

Holders of IGCSE/GCSE will not be awarded a graduation degree without passing Arabic Language & Religion exams. In addition, Business Administration students have to sit for a French exam.
