Dr. Shannon Drayton, BCBP, Assistant Prof. Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Outcomes sciences, College of Pharmacy, University of South Carolina visited MIU Faculty of Pharmacy from the 18th to 28th of March. During that period she gave lectures to senior students on Alzheimer, Parkinson’s disease, depression and Schizophrenia. She trained them on clinical psychiatric situations, focusing on the role of the clinical pharmacist in that area. Dr. Drayton also gave a presentation to the pharmacists in the General Psychiatry Hospital in Abassya on the role of the pharmacist in the psychiatric domain.
