Dr. Cecily DiPiro, Consultant Clinical Pharmacist, South Carolina will visit the Faculty of Pharmacy from February 26th- March 1st, 2012. During this period, Dr. Cecily DiPiro will lecture senior pharmacy students on gout and osteoarthritis diseases and their pharmacotherapeutic approaches. She will hold a meeting with Pharmacy Practice Specialists and the TAs to discuss relevant clinical cases. She will also supervise the application of new teaching and assessment techniques of OSLE and OSCE in the laboratory sessions to enhance the students’ professional competencies in simulated clinical settings. Her expertise in the patient counseling domain will be the main theme of the meeting with Clinical Pharmacy Department.
