For 3 successive condensed days 29-31 January, 2012, Forty three students, Faculty of Pharmacy, had intensive training of the advanced first aid skills at the MIU campus. The training was conducted by the Egyptian Ambulance Organization (EAO). Expert physicians focused of hand on hand training in the advanced skills of emergency and first aid. The participated students, whom are now “Certified First Aiders”, will continue in gaining more active practical experience with the ambulance staff in the real filed. This event is unique it happens for the first time to have certified volunteers in Egypt. In a special ceremony On Wednesday 22 February, Dr Mohamed Sultan chairman of EAO will give the official IDs for the participated .
